The purpose of this manual is to introduce all interested nursing home personnel (nursing aides, medical assistants, licensed practical nurses) to the basic knowledge and skills necessary to assist their residents to maintain, improve, and/or regain their functional independence.  A special emphasis will be placed upon participants the skills needed to work in the restorative or rehab nursing program at nursing home facilities. 100 pages.
